The Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) was an association established in Rome in 1562 for the purpose of providing religious education. Today CCD refers to a religious education program of the Catholic Church, normally designed for children.
At Gesu Church this program prepares young people for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. Classes are in the Parish Hall (below the church) on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM (after the 12:10 Mass).
The program begins in early September and concludes in May.
